Sessions take place once a week, and they last for 50 minutes.

Tamara is an out-of-network provider. To find out what your insurance may cover, contact your insurance and ask if you have out-of-network mental health coverage. If you need to provide a “CPT code” or a “Service Code,” you can provide the following code: Individual Therapy CPT 90834.

You may also want to mention the type of license that Tamara has to ensure services with her credential are covered. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), license number 108557. Other things you may want to ask about are:

  • What your deductible is
  • What your co-insurance payment will be
  • How many visits you get per year
  • If you need authorization for your visits
  • Details on how to submit a superbill

Everyone’s needs are different. While some symptoms may decrease after your first few sessions, developing insight and exploring underlying causes of your thoughts, feelings, and reactions takes time. Tamara recommends that you commit to weekly sessions for at least 6 months to experience lasting change and insight. Clients interested in short-term therapy to reduce certain symptoms are also welcome.

Tamara’s approach is eclectic, and she will draw on various theories to meet your individual needs. She identifies as a Psychodynamic, Client-centered, and Strengths-based therapist. During your consultation call, Tamara will talk more about her approach and what that may look like in your sessions.
